The Orchard Country House offers delightful self-catering holidays and breaks for large groups or for several families looking to holiday together.

  A former boutique hotel, this substantial, detached property provides spacious living accommodation for up to 26 guests in 13 en-suite bedrooms. A secluded, sunny garden surrounds the house and includes a small orchard, lawn areas and 2 large patio areas with seating, ideal for barbecues and alfresco dining. The area is a haven for wildlife and the surrounding area is ideal for walkers with an abundance of bridleways and footpaths including the famous Jurassic Coastal path. Nearby is the Rousdon village store and off-licence which stocks a variety of groceries, daily newspapers etc and the nearby Dower House Hotel has a public bar and a la carte restaurant. With parking for up to 15 cars and just a 5 minutes drive to the beach and town amenities of Lyme Regis, larger parties will find this the ideal base from which to enjoy all that the area has to offer.

Please note: The property will be available from 4pm on the day of occupation and a £200 refundable security deposit will be required in advance.  Supervision of younger children will be required in the garden as there is a small ornamental pond.

2 Night short breaks are available Nov - Mar inc (not inc. school holiday weeks) - £475 per night - please call us before booking a 2 night short break online. Occupation on 2 night breaks is from 4pm on day of arrival - departure by 2pm.
