“Don't be put off by the stairs you have to go up to get the to the flat.”

They are somewhat shabby and I wondered what we'd come too! Also don't be put off by the masking tape around the internal window frames....assume they were there to stop drafts? Other than that the flat itself, once inside was lovely, it was very clean and had everything we needed. It looked as tho it hadn't long been renovated. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend this property. Loved sitting in the bay window with a coffee looking at the views. It was quite close to the ...

The free parking at Netflix on the TV were a bonus Just one point to note there is no external light in the porch which made it difficult to get the key in the lock after dark and I stumbled over the step just outside the door.

“Arrival was a bit confusing with lots of people milling about the door.”

It would also be useful to put the Flat number on the info that is sent out. Everything else was great - apart from the walk up the hill when you been at the beach all day! Not sure you can do much about that! Great stay though, enjoyed every minute of it.

A lovely welcome pack was provided and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. To improve it would be good to have more than 1 key to the property or to fix the intercom buzzer, to prevent having to go downstairs to the front door to let another family member in.

Real bonus having parking. We visit Lyme quite often and would be v happy to book Little Gem again. Only issue was intermittent WiFi.

“Nice apartment with great view.”

We felt very welcome. Suggestions for improvement: in the shower there is mold and the fan needs cleaning. The second bed in the small bedroom could not be put up. That was dissapointing. We had to place it in the living room. The blinds there did not darken the room. The kitchen was well equipped, except the pans were to small to cook for four people. For example we needed two pans for cooking pasta alone.

“Little Gem was better than expected!”

Small but functional for a family of four with two small kids (7 and 5). Clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a short stay. A good location, a 5-10 minute walk down the hill into Lyme Regis and close to a great park that our kids loved (Anning Road, 5 minutes walk). Appreciated the parking space and the generous welcome goodies! Thank you :)

“Lovely big windows letting in lots of light, second bedroom a bit of a squeeze, bedroom cupboards full of vacum, clean sheets, mop and bucket.”

Kept knocking our knees on the posts at end of bed, wish bed slightly higher from the ground, settee uncomfortable, otherwise no problems

“Basically a nice apartment in a good position with nice views.”

There was everything needed in the apartment. Quite spacious rooms, but bathroom and toilet are separate and small, quite cramped for space. The mattress was hollowed a bit and needs replacing. Bad backs wouldn't appreciate it for a long stay. Only 5 - 10 minutes walk into town center, with a short but steep final bit back up.

“This really was a little gem!”

It was an amazing stay. The parking was brilliant. The location was excellent. We even got used to the hill! The flat itself was beautiful. So clean and modern. There was nothing negative about this place. It was amazing. Lyme Regis is such a stunning location. Not as touristy as I thought but may be we came before the summer rush. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to others. Absolutely brilliant. A credit to the owners.

“Light, airy and bright, with a good shower and views over the town and distant coastline.”

Most of the basics provided for a reasonably comfortable stay, although would rather have had a washing machine than the dish washer that seems to have taken its place.Half a J cloth and a tiny amount of washing up liquid also seemed a bit mean for a week long rental.
