“The property is in an excellent location, but back from the main road so that you cannot hear any traffic noise.”

We have not stayed in Lyme Regis (or visited) before and it way exceeded our expectations. Everyone we met was so helpful and friendly we were blown away. The property is well maintained and quirky with excellent facilities. The welcome pack was a very pleasant surprise and much appreciated. We couldn't visit without fossil hunting on the beach and had some finds. The fossil shops and museums were excellent and very interesting. All in all an excellent choice. A couple of minor maintenance issues, the outside light on the end of the sitting room wasn't working and thus the lighting of the outside stairs was poor, and the windows in the downstairs double bedroom/bathroom had swollen and couldn't be opened , so there was a lot of condensation in the mornings.
