    “The wrong key code was annoying.”

    There were no details provided about the parking permit; by the time we found it, we had spent £160 on parking two cars, which was poor. We also spent money on bed guards for the kids, only to find they were provided but not listed on the inventory. The leaded front windows are in a terrible state. The first‑floor living room was unusable during a blow from the sea, as the room was cold. I know they are listed and can’t be easily replaced, but something needs to be done, more than sellotape ...

I know they are listed and can’t be easily replaced, but something needs to be done, more than sellotape over the cracks. The state of the house is less than pristine, which is fine for a family seaside let, but not in line with the premium rental price. The welcome pack felt token, and there were no beach toys for the children. Overall, we had a nice break, and with a little careful investment and better listing details this could be a good let. Overall disappointing.
