    “Although I was aware of the lack of outside space I found the small courtyard very disappointing.”

    I don’t think it was grubby but it looked like it. Hardly a welcoming space to sit out in and only briefly sunny even in good weather because of the surrounding buildings. It would have been nice to meet or even know the name of the owner.

Upside Down Cottage is a Grade 2 listed cottage located in the heart of the historic market town of Colyton, Devon. Tucked in behind and situated within the grounds of a period house, Upside Down Cottage is approached from a shared path leading to the cottage with its quaint courtyard seating area at the front.
