The bathroom, is another impressive room with a skylight window, sleek fixtures and bath with shower over ensuring you can freshen up in style before you head out for the day.
The village of Kilmington is pretty village comprising of many thatched properties and with a church and village pub at its heart. Located in a designated area of superb natural beauty and surrounded by an abundance of footpaths and circular walks, with nearby Shute woods offering some great dog walking and far-reaching views from the beacon at the summit. For times when you prefer not to cook, The New Inn is a small village pub in the heart of Kilmington is only a short walk from the property and serves fine real ales and traditional pub grub, with nearby Axminster, Lyme Regis, Axmouth and Seaton all boasting a good selection from traditional pubs to fine dining restaurants. When it comes to stocking up on essentials for your stay, Millers Farm Shop is only a short walk away and sells a wide choice of local produce and fresh meats with the on-site restaurant a popular spot to stop for a bite to eat. Located close to the Devon and Dorset border, the area has so much to offer. For a great day out, the picturesque seaside town of Lyme Regis, on the UNESCO Jurassic Coast, boasts family-friendly beaches and the iconic Cobb Harbour. Explore the Lyme Regis Museum and learn about the area's rich fossil-hunting history before trying to find your own fossils on the beach. A few miles drive will bring you to Axminster, a larger market town built on a hill overlooking the River Axe heading towards the English Channel, with larger choice of shopping and cuisine. Or head south to the seaside and visit Lyme Regis, home to several beaches and cliff walks.
