The flat was comfortable and clean (apart from needing a dust around the TV, CD player and stand), and thoughtfully equipped. It is quite impossible to find a car parking space in any of the Lyme car parks on a sunny day in August, so the garage space beneath the flats was very welcome. Our only problem was that there was no hot water to wash up with, in spite of everything looking as it should according to the handbook supplied. I contacted LBH and asked for someone to phone us when the maintenance person was on their way so that we could be at the flat, but nothing happened until the second day when someone had come to the flat without our knowledge to fix it. I was annoyed about this breach of our privacy and security, and as yet, no-one has contacted me from LBH about it.
Just a further note: although the kitchen area is small, a larger rubbish bin is necessary for six people.
I would recommend this holiday flat, but bear in mind it's a good ten minute walk to the sandy beach and if you have a lot of beach gear a beach trolley is essential. Also, be aware that the pavement outside the block is narrow, so be very careful with young children.
