“We've stayed in this apartment for three weeks every year for six years (one week in the spring, two in the autumn) but I'm afraid this year was the last time.”
The parking is so tight that last Easter we had to stay in Lyme all week because we couldn't get out of the garage as we were blocked in by other cars. (By then we had already booked for this year.) More of an issue than that however is the cost. We had booked to go for Easter week itself in 2020. The cost would have been £755. In 2024 Easter week is £1,217. I know prices have risen but an increase of 62% over just four years is too much. Even the week before Easter 2024 is priced at over £1,000. We have taken the decision to stay elsewhere in Lyme Regis for that week which is costing £300 less. It's a shame but you have to draw a line somewhere.
We are pleased to be able offer parking at the apartment to our guests, especially as spaces in public carparks tend to fill quickly during the busy periods.

The Easter school Holidays fall over a 3 week period in 2024, commencing 29 March so if you are looking to travel on the same dates you will see a difference in the price
