The property

An attractive, period cottage in the heart of old Lyme Regis, this former mill workers cottage has been lovingly restored and refurbished by the owner over a number of years. The property has been sympathetically modernised and retains many original features complimented by the owner's personal and artistic finishing touches. The accommodation is arranged over three floors and an excellent addition to the cottage is the kitchen and dining area with full width folding doors opening into the garden making this a great space to enjoy at any time of the day. A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. The property backs onto the River Lym and a wonderful feature is the raised seating area where you can sit and watch the river meander by. Just a 5 minute, fairly level, walk from the seafront, restaurants, pubs and shops this is an ideal cottage from which to enjoy all that the traditional seaside town of Lyme Regis has to offer. Please note: Supervision is required with younger children in the garden and the staircase in the property is quite narrow and twisting and may not be suitable for the more infirm.
