“As a family we had a wonderful stay at Hargrove Farm Bungalow last week!”

Hartgrove Farm Bungalow is located on Trinity Hill in East Devon, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty bordering the county of Dorset and the nearby town of Lyme Regis. Sleeping up to 9 guests, this wonderful property is cleverly configured as 2 separate dwellings making this a wonderful option for two families or groups of friends wishing to share holiday experiences together. Set within its own grounds on a working farm, this is a delightful rural location with popular beaches, the seaside towns of Lyme Regis and Seaton and the dramatic UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coast all just a short car ride away. Finished to an exceptional standard throughout, both cottages are individually styled with open-plan living areas, fully equipped kitchens, and dining areas. With underfloor heating throughout, the cottages are positioned around an expansive garden and have bi-folding doors which lead out to the sociable patio space, where the large table and chairs create the perfect spot for coming together and enjoying the most tranquil of settings. The first of the two cottages is a bright and spacious home with high vaulted ceilings and exposed timbers, feature lighting and tasteful furnishings. The two bedrooms offer flexible sleeping options with a spacious king-size bedroom and a twin room, which can be made up as a super-king. The stylish bathroom has a bath, with a shower over giving you a choice between an evening dip in the tub or a quick steamy rinse. The second is finished with the same consideration for guests’ comfort with a delightful seating area, vaulted ceilings, and an impressive wood-burning stove. The two bedrooms can sleep up to five guests, with the first bedroom, a family room having a both king-size bed and a single bed. The second bedroom is also a spacious king-size. Outside, the garden is dotted with beautiful trees, shrubs and cottage-style planting with extensive lawns and patio seating areas where alfresco dining can be enjoyed. Axminster 3 miles; Seaton 4 miles; Lyme Regis 5 miles.

Musbury is a small village in East Devon lying between the towns of Axminster and Seaton with much of the surrounding unspoilt countryside in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and the centre of the village is a designated Conservation Area. There are plenty of spectacular walks in the surrounding landscape of wooded combes, vast areas of heathland, fertile river valleys and breathtaking cliffs or hilltops. The area is rich in wildlife with local nature reserves providing sanctuaries for birdlife including ospreys around the Axe estuary. From Musbury Castle, a hill fort above the village, there are spectacular views of the Axe Valley. Musbury is three miles from picturesque Seaton Bay with its mile long shingle beach on the Jurassic Coastline, a natural World Heritage Site. The attractive fishing port of Beer is also close-by as is the historic town of Axminster, with medieval minster church by the beautiful river Axe, weekly market, a museum containing antique Axminster carpets and ‘River Cottage’ produce shop and café.
