“This property, although tricky to locate at first, is in an idilic location, right next to the sea & the Marine Theatre & the views are stunning.”
The property itself is lovely, it has a homely feel from the minute to step in the door & into the large kitchen diner. You are met with a huge table & chairs & a massive very comfortable sofa, arm chair & wooden dresser. There is everything there that you would need for a comfortable stay. There are steep steps leading up to a lovely mezzanine area, which houses the TV & another 2 huge sofas, you will also find the hot water switch up there (I ventured up there once, but felt so comfortable downstairs, that’s where I spent my stay)
There are 2 deep steps down to the bedroom & bathroom area, but I managed those just fine. The bathroom is a good size, with a shower over a bath & the bedroom is very cosy, with a comfortable bed.
There is small courtyard that is just for the apartment, enclosed as long as you close the gate, it’s very pretty with lots of flowers in pots, I enjoyed my coffee out the in the mornings.
The apartment is filled to the brim with fossils & other artefact's, which I loved & loads of interesting reading. The owners have supplied a superb handbook, as well a folder of instructions on how to use the appliances (a lot of them are digital)
It is next door to the church & on Thursday evenings there is bell ringing practice for an hour, personally, I loved hearing it, but you might want to be out that evening if you don’t like it.
All in all, I loved everything about my stay!
Please note:
I will point out though, that if you have mobility difficulties, this area is very hilly & there are steep steps in the apartment.
