“The Port House is a lovely ‘upside down’ home over three floors.”
Very light, warm and airy, with a great family space on the top floor, with a superb view over the single line of rooftops in front, you can see the sea, the shoreline and the harbour wall with a full 180 degree view - simply stunning. Plenty space for us, our grown up son and his lovely GF, space for cosy catch ups around the log burner and space for space!

Tristan left a lovely hamper with local treats, and milk in the fridge for our morning coffee, he was also around and about, and very open and friendly, happy to help should that be needed.
We stayed a week, and ate so well, Swim for brunch, several coffee shops along the front, The Royal Standard and Harbour Inn for dinner, The Oyster and Fish and Cobb Inn for lunch, and bar stools at Lyme Bay cafe when a celebration ‘needed’ a bottle of champagne! The beach is wonderful, although I didn’t brave sea swimming in November, lots of people were, and just tucked in the harbour is a sauna run by a lovely local lady I spoke to after her morning swim and my morning run along the shoreline.
A much needed restorative week of rest, relaxation and recharge after a very busy year. Happy to recommend and will absolutely return.
