    “A beautiful little place to stay.”

    So close to the Cobb and the sea. The location is perfect and the fact it had parking made a huge difference. We were a family of 4 and felt like it was a perfect holiday house. We spent all day, every day out exploring so the evenings in this cosy place was perfect once the kids were fast asleep! Our only points to highlight would be that there is a lot of road noise which cannot be helped due to its central location but worth considering if you have light sleepers in the family (luckily we ...

Our only points to highlight would be that there is a lot of road noise which cannot be helped due to its central location but worth considering if you have light sleepers in the family (luckily we do not!) and the cleanliness of the property was average. We appreciate that this is down to the agency, not the owners. The house had everything we needed! Overall we had a great few days in this beautiful property and hope to come back soon.

The property

This attractive property is part of an architect-designed conversion of a Victorian house only a few metres from the Cobb harbour and seafront. The living area and small, south-facing decked terrace enjoy some wonderful views of the harbour and out towards the sea. The house has been furnished and decorated to a high standard including oak floors and a woodburner and although compact the apartment has everything required for a relaxing break. A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. Ideally situated within easy walking distance of Lyme's shops, pubs, restaurants and seafront, this is a wonderful apartment from which to enjoy a traditional seaside holiday. Please note: There is no cot space. The second bedroom is only suitable for children, therefore this property accepts a maximum of 2 adults. The delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis has much to offer its visitors, boasting a maze of narrow streets filled with craft and antique shops, galleries and cafes. Take a stroll along the world-famous Cobb causeway overlooking the ancient harbour, where fishing trips can be enjoyed, or try your hand at fossil hunting in the area. The scenic coastal path offers excellent walking opportunities and spectacular views of the stunning Jurassic coast, whilst the gently shelving sands and sparkling waters of Lyme Bay provide the perfect place in which to relax and unwind.
