We have stayed in many over the years, and it is definitely one of the best! We had a week in February, and it was a bright, spacious, well thought out and generously equipped stay. As well as being spotlessly clean, every detail had been thought of and we loved the bright nautical theme. We also liked that some small, quite simple details had been thought about which are often missing in other homes, such as having clean windows, hooks on the backs of doors, a laundry basket (that's a first - somewhere to put wet washing) plenty of empty kitchen cupboards for our food, and good lighting (essential in winter for a family of bookworms). We loved the huge kitchen and lounge, and the views across the fields.
We had family staying at number 4, and that worked brilliantly - our own spaces, but near enough for the grandchildren to toddle up the very safe path on their own to come and play.
Lyme Regis is our happy place, and it was good to visit all our favourite places - feeding the mullet, seeing the RNLI, the museum and the Town Mill (meals in there are fun and delicious)
We had a problem during our stay, and we'd like to mention Mia from Lyme Bay Holidays, who was responsive, courteous and proactive in sorting the issue. Thank you Mia!
The only negative comment we have is about the parent company, Sykes. If you have a question or problem, their system is impenetrable and it almost impossible to get in touch, especially if the issue is urgent. Their staff are based overseas in a call centre, and seem helpless if asked the simplest question. The quality of their calls was poor and they were poor communicators. We can't really understand why they run the company, as when we escalated our problem they simply returned us to LBH, who dealt with it very effectively. We've had many holidays via LBH before and they have always been great, and still have the office in Lyme, so we were a bit puzzled by this.

We were so happy to hear that you appreciated the practical details we strive to include to ensure guests have all they need to enjoy a comfortable stay whilst visiting beautiful Lyme.
