The microwave is old and you cannot time it in seconds, only minutes. There is an odd mix of old and new furniture and artwork, and the same with crockery and kitchen equipment, and there aren't enough large mugs. There are dozens of old books, but nothing you'd actually want to read. Basically, it just needs a good clear out, to get rid of all the old stuff because the new stuff is good. And repaint the bathroom door properly, instead of tacky touchups. It's like someone started a renovation ...

The shower needs a curtain because the whole area, including the toilet, gets soaked. Also, there is a huge lobby, but nowhere to hang coats. Some hooks on the wall or a hat stand would be useful. A washing line outside would be useful too, and would save electricity.
These are small points though as generally we had a great, relaxing time in this beautiful part of the country. I would definitely return and recommend to others.
We appreciated the very quick response when the toilet flush got stuck - within hours someone came and fixed it. And the person on the phone was polite and efficient.
