“Fabulous location.”

Every thing perfect with one glitch. Our stay was for 2 weeks, with each week booked separately. We booked the 2nd week on the condition that the place was cleaned after 7 days with the towels and linen changed after 7 days.My wife is recovering after a serious accident and is unable to do such tasks. I have a heart condition.. When I reminded Sykes of the condition I was given a message saying the would not clean or change the linen and was told I could find replacements in the wardrobe. “The flat was absolutely gorgeous - the views are amazing, and it was a really special stay.”

Everything went so well, and even though the weather wasn't great it didn't matter because it's such a nice place to stay. The lift was good, underfloor heating made it a lovely even temperature, bathrooms great. Would highly recommend!

Perhaps you could include pictures of the main door . We were pleased with the quality of the provisions -coffee/tea/buscuits but surprised there was no shower gel shampoo .

We were amazed by the equipment supplied, everything you would have in your own home, and in excellent condition. It was exceptionally clean and supplied with equipment to keep it that way. The views from the penthouse were breathtaking, from inside and out, and so much to take in! A holiday experience we will never forget!

“The property was wonderful!”

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, in a great location and with superb views. It was spacious, with high ceilings and large rooms, apart from the smaller twin bedroom, which was still fine. We had engaging grandstand views of the harbour and sea, including the huge waves caused by the latest storm. We didn’t have a car but could walk from the door and use buses to explore and walk further afield. Everything worked well, and my only suggestion is that the owners buy a new visitors’ book and leave it out so these comments can be written in it!

“A lovely few days the only criticism I have is that I couldn’t get the shower in the en suite hot enough Very comfortable with lovely views we also booked 2 Drift Wood for the rest of the family.”

We scattered my husband’s ashes by drone over the sea early Saturday morning. It was my husband’s favourite place, he was born in Bridport so he’s back home

“A stunning apartment which fully deserves a 5 star rating.”

Wonderful scenic views from the balcony which encompasses the property (unfortunately weather was too chilly to take full advantage during our stay). We have booked again for next summer! Two areas may require some maintenance. 1). En suite window does not close and 2). One of the full size blinds in main living area does not unfold completely. Finally, have to mention that our apartment was cleaned to an exceptionally high standard. Well done! J Taylor

“A lovely apartment with beautiful views.”

Lots of space and very well equipped. Perfect for exploring the Jurassic coast and hunting for fossils, and walks along the coast path. Lovely choice of restaurants. We went to Rise and the Watch Point cafe. Both had lovely food and great service. The Station Kitchen looked amazing but it was fully booked!

“A lovely apartment Noticed some new furniture since our last visit which was very stylish The towel rail in the bathroom with the bath in tripped the lights in the rooms off the corridor Just so you are aware of it We just switched the lever back on the board so it wasn't a problem It happened when we switched it on outside the bathroom door Also the shower head in the ensuite bathroom could do with descaling A lovely weekend was had by all!”

“Overall our stay was fabulous.”

We did have terrible trouble with the key safe outside No. 25. It just wouldn't open. We happened to speak to a neighbour on the groundfloor, who said he'd had the same problem. Eventually it did open, even though we hadn't done anything different. Also, the far end blind in the living room was stuck and wouldn't close. The cables in many of the blinds were twisted and sometimes difficult to open/close, although they all did eventually. I wonder if the installer could do a maintenance visit from time to time. We found the long sofa somewhat uncomfortable as it seemed to slope. We dealt with this by putting several cushions on top. Maybe it needs serious plumping up or refilling. Please don't let these comments take away from the fact that the apartment is fabulous and it is great that the owners act upon receiving feedback. We would really like to come back, but believe a five night stay may not be possible next year, according to the website - minimum booking is a week. Is this the case?

As I spent all my time at the penthouse the views where fantastic we had lovely sunny days and it was warm my friends Mr and Mrs hellengs who came with us said it was the best place they had ever stayed. Really comfortable would recommend you as you where so helpful when we booked everything was as you said it would be thankful.

“The penthouse has wonderful views over the harbour which can’t be seen when sitting on the settee or chairs as they are so low - and hard!”

The terrace at the side looks directly into two of the neighbouring flats so close that you can hold a conversation without raising your voice. The single bed swayed when sat on. Having said that the flat was clean well presented and a great TV 5 G reception on phone too!
